1) Expensive brunette hair
Many blonde celebrities, including Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber, have switched to gorgeous brown hair color in the last year, and we predict more to follow in their footsteps in 2022. According to celebrity hairstylist Tom Smith, European creative director for Evo Hair, the expensive brunette is all about giving deeper hair energy, dimension, and detail.

This is a terrific alternative for a little lift with very little upkeep if you want highlighted hair. To create dimension without a severe grow-out, Grummel recommends asking for highlights that are only a couple of shades lighter than your original hue.
5) Amber Brown hair
Ask your hairdresser for a blushy, warm gloss on brown hair if you want a modest change for your winter hair color, according to DeBolt. “A simple gloss might do the work and provide sparkle and warmth for the months ahead if you have faded highlights from summer, he advises. This winter, DeBolt adds, his clients are opting for minor modifications to their current hues rather than making drastic changes. 9) Golden Pops
Bold highlights are flattering on many hair colors, not just blondes. The tone is important, and Hillier suggests staying in the gold family. Gold reflects the most light and shines the brightest, she continues, so soft golden pops are excellent for everyone. Talk to your colorist about how blonde you want these pops to be so you don’t end up looking like a platinum Barbie doll.
10) Fantasy Blue hair color
Hillier predicts that blue will overtake pink as the fun color of the season this winter. However, because it’s a little more difficult to nail than pink, it’s not as popular. Hillier thinks it looks beautiful on pale skin but can bring out any redness, so be cautious if that’s something you’re worried about. If your hair isn’t lightened sufficiently, it can turn green, so make sure you ask your colorist to fill in any yellow tones before applying your shade of blue. With any substantial hair alteration, Hillier recommends an Olaplex treatment, but especially one like this when bleach is used.
